Shan means mountain. The temple. A place of retreate and
contemplation. Here the hermit recluse monks sit amongst the clouds
far away from the land of red dust. Living off ferns and dewdrops,
collecting sacred mountain herbs and create elixers which they mix
with spiritual practices in order to journey far beyond their
mountain home on the backs of cranes and gusts of wind.
A Taoist at heart, I seek to connect myself and others with the
natural patterns of change, growth and manifestation in our
collective ecology. Deeply influenced by Zen and Buddhist
sensibilities I am dedicated to continually refining my personal
spiritual practice. My role in the GSC is as inspirational interface,
mythic cartographer, gate keeper, communications outreach, and post-
production consultant. I also do juniper bonsai and garden
permaculture feng shui.
